As a native Vermonter, Captain Jaye is well known on the slopes of Sugarbush as a volunteer ski patroller, on the courts for competitive tennis, in the air on Whiskey Yankee Zulu 6119 and on the water as "Absolutely". Her boating experience began early on with several voyages from the pristine shores of Lake Champlain, Vermont to Cuba and the Bahamas. Her most recent sailing sabbatical lasted a challenging yet glorious eighteen months on a single hand voyage aboard her beloved “Absolutely” as she cruised down the eastern seaboard and explored a significant portion of the Caribbean. At the culmination of her excellent adventure, she  found herself working with Florida Yacht Charters in Miami Beach. Since that time, Captain Jaye has served in many boat related positions including Director of a Sailing School, Charter Captain, ASA Instructor, Charter Agent, Private Yacht Maintenance, Deliveries, Director of SailTime Miami, Dive Boat Captain and Rescue Diver. When skippering larger yachts, her responsibilities include procurement and management of crew, overseeing provisioning for guests, setting an appropriate trip agenda to accommodate the guest’s needs and insuring the safe delivery of the yachts.

Her return to port is always filled with smiling faces and fantastic memories.

Having cruised, dived, moored, fished, and explored extensively throughout the Bahamas, Caribbean, East Coast USA, Florida Keys, Captain Jaye is proud to be able to offer her unique perspective and acumen to the yachting world.
